Services- Electrical

wiresElectrical wiring in general refers to insulated conductors used to carry electricity, and all associated devices.  Our support staff is qualified to do any type of electrical wiring.  Whether it is residential, commercial or industrial.  That is why we are named “Wire-All”.  There is no job that is too little or too big for us, we wire everything.

Electrical wires carry a large amount of electricity, therefore it is important to consider safety when it comes to electrical wiring.  Our team strictly follows safety codes to assure that our clients are safe from electrical shock and/or fire hazards.

Follow these simple safety precautions, provided by the United States Fire Administration (USFA):

  • Routinely check your electrical appliances and wiring.
  • Frayed wires can cause fires.  Replace all worn, old or damaged appliance cords immediately.
  • Use electrical extension cords wisely and don’t overload them.
  • Keep electrical appliances away from wet floors and counters; pay special care to electrical appliances in the bathroom and kitchen.
  • When buying electrical appliances, look for products evaluated by a nationally recognized laboratory, such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
  • Don’t allow children to play with or around electrical appliances like space heaters, irons and hair dryers.
  • Keep clothes, cyrtains, and other potentially combustible items at least three feet from all heaters.
  • If an appliance has a three-prong plug, use it only in a three-slot outlet.  Never force it to fit into a two-slot outlet or extension cord.
  • Never overload extension cords or wall sockets.  Immediately shut off, then professionally replace, light switches that are hot to the touch and lights that flicker.  Use safety closures to “child-proof” electrical outlets.
  • Check your electrical tools regularly for signs of wear.  If the cords are frayed or cracked, replace them.
  • Always be sure to have working smoke alarms throughout the house/business to increase chances of surviving a fire.

When taking on a complicated electrical wiring job, it is always important to hire/consult a professional.  We are trained and certified to install wiring systems and would be happy to assist you and/or answer any electrical questions.
